One of the best games ever made, and one of my greatest experiences in a videogame ever. Half-Life Alyx is a 10/10 game in graphics, physics, gameplay, maps/scenarios and it has such a solid story. 13 years after Hal-Life 2, we get an amazing prequel which can stand up to the "Half-Life" name very proudly, and my opinion, the best entry of the series thus far. The Valve Index is a marvelous high-end headset, that improves consumer headsets on all fronts: resolution, field of view, comfort. And Half-Life: Alyx’s input has been designed specifically for the Valve Index Controllers, and so handling the guns, reloading them, and especially using the Grabbity Gloves is best when you are using the Index
When I try to play half life alyx with oculus link there are lag spikes every few seconds which make the game unplayable. I have a ryzen 5 3600 and rtx 3060ti. I have attached a pitcure of what my steam vr overlay looks like. This pattern continues on the whole time I play.
